Do I need a credit card to start?

No! Free plan requires no payment. Upgrade anytime.

One-time payment or autopay, what's the difference?

At checkout you explicitly choose: a one-time payment charges you once and access lasts until that period ends, nothing renews automatically, and you decide again next time. Autopay charges the same amount automatically every period until you cancel, and cancelling still leaves your access running until the period you already paid for ends. Neither is the default, you always pick.

Do students need to pay?

Students get 3 practice papers/month free. Upgrade (₹99 to ₹199/month) for 60 practice papers a month (up to 5 a day) and more AI tutor queries.

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes! Annual billing saves you 17% (2 months free).

Do prices include GST?

Tech Mandalae is not registered for GST at present, so no GST is charged on any price. If this changes, prices will be updated and you will be told in advance.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

A plan or top-up is not refundable once it is activated or a payment has succeeded. A duplicate payment is refunded in full, and if a payment succeeds but we fail to activate it, we activate it or refund you in full. You can cancel autopay at any time; it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, with no refund for the current period. Top-ups cannot be refunded once used or after the month ends. What payment methods are accepted?

UPI, credit/debit cards, netbanking, wallets.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, change plans anytime from your profile.

How does the school free trial work?

Every school gets a 30-day free trial with full Growth plan access, no credit card required. Your trial starts automatically when your school account is created. During the trial, teachers, students, and parents get everything the Growth plan includes.

What happens when the school trial ends?

You get a 7-day grace period where everything continues working. After that, you can upgrade to a paid school plan to continue. Alternatively, teachers, students, and parents can each choose to continue as individual accounts, their data stays intact and they can keep using Adhyay independently.

Do students at a school on the Growth/Premium plan need to pay separately?

Students at a school with an active plan or trial get unlimited monthly practice (up to 5 new papers a day) and can view teacher-assigned exams. If the school plan expires, students get 10 practice tests a day. Students can also choose an individual plan from ₹99/month.

Can teachers have a personal plan alongside the school plan?

Yes, teachers can add Teacher Pro (₹299/mo) to their account for unlimited personal subjects, even if their school is on a restricted plan.
